Fei Lu, MD, PhD, FACC, FHRS
Fei Lu, MD, PhD, FACC, FHRS, joined Lutheran Health Physicians in 2017. He has been featured in over 200 publications and has lectured in the field of cardiac electrophysiology in North America, Asia and Europe.
As a board-certified electrophysiologist, Dr. Lu specializes in diagnosing and treating irregular heart rhythms caused by problems with the heart's electrical system, including any fast, slow and irregular heart rhythms. He evaluates the need for an implantable device and catheter ablations, and predicts the risk of future sudden cardiac death.
Dr. Lu received his medical degree from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, China and received his PhD from the University of London. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a cardiology fellowship at Sun Yat-sen University. He also completed fellowships in cardiology/electrophysiology at St. George's Hospital in London, Indiana University in Indianapolis, and Rush University in Chicago.
Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and cardiac electrophysiology, Dr. Lu is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the Heart Rhythm Society and a member of the American Heart Association.
