The physicians and staff of Lutheran Health Physicians have been treating conditions and illnesses that affect the heart, such as heart attacks, heart failure and irregular heartbeats, for area patients for close to 40 years. Robert E. Swint Sr., MD, was the first board-certified cardiologist in Fort Wayne. Over the years, LHP has grown to include an array of cardiologists who provide general, invasive and interventional services, along with electrophysiologists, cardiologists who diagnose and treat irregular heartbeats and other conditions that can lead to cardiac arrest. All of LHP's cardiologists have received specialized training and are committed to providing patients the best heart care possible.
