Fausto G. Devecchi, MD, MBA, CPE
Fausto G. Devecchi, MD, joined Lutheran Health Physicians as a cardiac electrophysiologist in July 2009. Dr. Devecchi earned his degree in medicine and surgery at the University of Turin School of Medicine and Surgery in Torino, Italy, with honors, in 1996.
After his military service, he completed the internal medicine internship and residency program at Roger Williams Medical Center, then part of Boston University School of Medicine, in Providence, Rhode Island, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Devecchi completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City in 2005, where he served as chief fellow, and completed a second fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Brown University in Providence in 2007, where he was awarded the Haffenreffer Fellow Excellence Award in Medical Sciences.
Dr. Devecchi is board certified in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Devecchi is a Certified Physician Executive (American Association for Physician Leadership) and graduated with honors at the Isenberg school of Management, MBA program. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Heart Rhythm Society, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Association for Physician Leadership, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the American Society for Quality, the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, the American College of Physician Advisors, the Indiana State Medical Association, the Fort Wayne Medical Society, and also an invited member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor society.
