Tina Leavell, PA
Tina Leavell, PA, is a family medicine physician assistant who provides multiple types of services including preventive and chronic care. She cares for men, women and children of all ages. Leavell also treats various acute illnesses.
Leavell earned her undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. In 2004, she earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Saint Francis. During the year of her graduation, she earned the Clinical Year Excellence Award in Physician Assistant Studies, a top student award at USF.
Leavell began working as a physician assistant in 2004 with a primary care private practice in Auburn. In 20011, she joined DeKalb Health Medical Group and worked there for eight years. Prior to arriving at Lutheran Health Physicians, she briefly worked for Credo Family Medicine in Fort Wayne.
Leavell serves on the executive board for St. Martin's Healthcare in Garrett, Indiana, and is the co-medical director of Women's Care Center in Auburn, Indiana. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants.
