About
Dale Sloan, M.D., FACS, FASMBS, is the medical director of the Lutheran Bariatric Center. A native of Kendallville, Indiana, and a life-long Hoosier, Dr. Sloan earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 1979 and completed a surgical internship and residency at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis in 1980 and 1984, respectively.
Dr. Sloan has been a practicing surgeon in Fort Wayne since 1984 and started the Lutheran Bariatric Center program in 2005. He has also provided surgical care in the Dominican Republic as part of a medical mission team for more than 30 years.
